Working closely with an art director and senior partner, I designed a series of illustration icons depicting architectural details, park elements, music instruments, vinyl records, florals, and symbolic figures such as mermaids, each referencing the cultural memory and everyday rhythm of Gramercy, Flatiron, and NoMad. In collaboration with the art director and senior partner, I co-designed the brochure layout to guide readers through the residences, amenities, and surrounding neighborhood while maintaining a consistent narrative tone across visual mediums. Centered on one of the brand’s key motifs, a miniature dachshund, the animation follows the puppy as it moves through the residences, navigating domestic interiors before wandering outward toward the surrounding neighborhood. The journey culminates in Gramercy Park, where the dog comes to rest beneath a willow tree that subtly transforms into the W brand mark. As the designer on the project, I designed the website to emphasize clarity, restraint, and temporal experience. A fixed navigation anchors the interface, while the navigation elements and logo positioned at the bottom right use a difference blending mode that dynamically responds to the content beneath. As users scroll through the site, the navigation inverts in real time, creating a subtle but continuous visual dialogue between interface and imagery. The architecture pays homage to the timeless elegance of the neighborhood’s classical apartment buildings while introducing a contemporary sensibility suited to modern city living. As lead designer, I developed the brand identity in close collaboration with the art director and senior partner. enforced against women and the bodies of women. I use fruits as a representation of all the qualities and ideals that women have across all nations and mythology. How do I respond to the virtues and ideals that I am always ingesting? I created a video to respond to and consider this query. Western art, classical music, or in this case, impressionist painters and composers, are, in my opinion, the major influences on my techniques and cultural background. I escaped to the western society, which I had assumed to be "neutral" since I was a little child, when I had to deal with the unavoidable patriarchy in Chinese culture. No matter what I assume, the bondage and single point of view remain present. In order to face who I am and whether or not I need atonement, I sought to unravel the values that I had wrapped around my body. In addition to the cultural context, my perspective on daily conduct also contributes to my exploration for the movie. I will put on a feign when I'm in a strong or otherwise scary setting to give myself some sense of security. I chose to think beyond the board game box after getting locked into a single goal. Then, I consider the connection between my life and those issues—fruits. What they represent to me. There are three questions drive my exploration:&nbsp; Have you played a separate person to keep yourself safe inside? Have you turned into a fruit? It covers the connections and relationships between fruits and legends from various cultural perspectives. Typically, "fertility," "sexual desire," and "youth" are the connotations. Since the sea eventually devours both the mountain and the male protagonist's manhood, I thought the relationship between the divergent iconographies of the mountain and the seato to be particularly interesting. In addition, the mesmerizing presence of the eye—human eyes as well as camera lenses on electronic devices—inspired me to draw comparisons between the film's visual style and that of Alfred Hitchcock. I wanted to portray the male lead, Hae-Jun, as being stuck before eventually collapsing.
